About us

StartSmart CEE empowers startups, corporations, and ecosystems to innovate, scale, and collaborate in tackling the most urgent challenges of our time. We support technological and business transformation across sectors, combining entrepreneurship with positive societal and environmental impact.

As part of this mission, Cleantech for CEE is one of our flagship initiatives. It focuses on empowering innovators to address two of the most pressing challenges in Central and Eastern Europe: air pollution and climate change. We are building a community of stakeholders — from startups to corporates, investors, public institutions, and NGOs — who are developing technologies to clean our air, decarbonize industries, and create a more sustainable future for the region.

✔️ Support planning and evaluation of cleantech technology pilots at large companies

✔️Participate in advocacy activities — knowledge dissemination, publications, speaking engagements

✔️ Collaborate with businesses, public institutions, universities, and NGOs

✔️ Assist in the delivery of funded projects (national and EU)

Requirements:

✔️ Proven experience in startup incubation, acceleration, or innovation program management, preferably in the Platformy Startowe grant schemes

✔️ Cleantech or CE sector network

✔️ Strategic communication and public speaking skills

What We offer:
